Bab Al Shams, is a 5* hotel located in the heart of the desert between the highest red sand dunes in Dubai, 45 minutes drive from the new city centre. Bab Al Shams has several pools and jacuzzis, a children’s pool and a family pool.
It opens its doors to the public every day of the week from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
There are only two options to get to this hotel, either by taxi or with your own vehicle. In this pool, you will have a changing cabin and secure lockers to leave your belongings. Towels are provided on site and deckchairs are included in the entrance fee, as well as lunch in the pool restaurant with a high-quality, varied and all-you-can-eat buffet from 12 noon to 3.30 pm.
To get there, no need to book in advance, you can pay your entrance fee directly on the spot.
Finally, the port of Burkini is authorized.
At the end of the afternoon, around 4pm, some days you can admire a falcon hunting or take a little ride on a camel but also enjoy their lounge, Al Sarab, located on the roof to admire the sunset but also enjoy live music, sung from 6pm.
Within Bab Al Shams, you can dine in several restaurants, the most popular of which is Al Hadeerah and its giant buffet. This restaurant is animated all evening, until about 11.30 pm, by dance shows and singers. The evening is in full swing every evening and is lit by fireworks which take place every Thursday and Friday around 9 pm.
